Homemade Jamaican Jerk Seasoning

Ingredients
  • 6 Stalks Scallion
  • 6-7 Scotch Bonnet Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh Thyme leaves
  • 6 Cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp. Dark or Mushroom Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Season Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Allspice ground
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg ground
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon ground
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
Instructions
  1. Combine all above ingredients in a blender or food processor and purée.
  2. Store in a glass jar in the fridge.
  3. Use to season any meat of choice.
  4. If using as a main seasoning, still lightly salt meat along with the Jerk Seasoning.
